Early Summer 60s & 70s Photoshoot

Model: Kimi Foston / Photographer: Nicholas Barker / Copyright: Dog & Bone Vintage

At the beginning of summer (which seems so long ago!) Dog & Bone Vintage met with our lovely friend Kimi to do a photoshoot of some of our fabulous dresses, ranging from flowy 70s psychedelia maxi-dresses to classic solid print 60s shift dresses. We do love our Northern Soul and think that solid 60s print dresses fit in perfectly with this scene - Timeless pieces that make a bold floral statement and don't get mixed up with your wishy-washy high street pieces. Prints are in all year round and over the coming months we'll show you what to expect in winter, where to find it and how to wear it.

We've always been in love with clocks at Dog & Bone Vintage. There's something special about them, perhaps because time is so important in all of our lives - It comes, it goes - Sometimes you lose track! They're pretty important - Sometimes, it's not a specific time you need to know but just the date. I certainly find myself losing track sometimes and what better way to keep track than having to physically move a mechanism to remind you of a certain date (You won't miss an anniversary again!) There's also something quite romantic about knowing that time has moved on, it can be quite comforting sometimes. Whatever the feeling that time gives you, realising that idea in beautiful design over the years has always intrigued us. All the above are stocked in our online etsy shop. We'd love to see your favourite clocks and your favourite ways to tell the time. We definitely think telling the time and date should be fun, practical and beautiful.
